

Take part in a few side quests and look around each spot, looting in certain sections. If for some reason you are, there's the next best option – looting.

The dyes can be a little expensive, going for a thousand Crowns apiece, so make sure you aren't on the broke side when you pay the Merchant a visit in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. (There will be a few dye pools nearby as well.) Head towards the harbor just east of the Harbor Gate and look for some paint splotches, and you'll find the Merchant. The first stop you'll want to make is in Beauclair, where a Dye Merchant will be waiting. You can buy dyes right out, or you can find them or make them yourself.

Getting Your Hands On Dyes In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Just keep in mind you can only use them with pieces of Witcher gear, like sets including Griffin, Bear, Cat, Viper, Manticore or Viper. These consumable items can be picked up throughout Toussaint, with a number of different colors available.
