The startup sound is pretty amazing in the OS and most people like the sound and let it play when the computer boots up, and the fun part is Windows 95’s startup sound was created on a Mac machine. Brings me great happiness installing this as a VM and stepping back in time every now and then! My parents never owned a PC and my siblings weren't as interested as I was. I remember upgrading my PC and I was only 13 years old. I did most of my high school homework on Microsoft Word 2000, when I didn't have to! All because I loved working and exploring my PC.
I was so happy I could do such things! I learned to create videos on Windows Movie Maker. You appreciated each page because it took time to load! I remember getting onto google in 2001, and searching for the simpsons! Every webpage was different and interesting. It was like a window into the entire world, especially for a young 11 year old boy. You never knew what web pages were out there and what you might find. I remember being so excited about going on the internet for the first time on our dial-up phone line at 56Kbps speed, the internet was so much more exciting then than it is now. wma audio files and play them on Windows Media Player whilst I did my homework on Microsoft Word 2000. The operating system and its many menus and applications were my playground! I taught myself how to rip audio CDs into. I have very fond memories! Where do I start.
It was the year 2000, and it with it came Windows ME. My parents bought me my first PC and I was 11 years old really to help me with my studies.
